“Criminal” and “Outrageous” if Congress fails to pass funding to aid Ukraine- ‘Joe Biden

President Joe Biden meets with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the White House on Friday for a bilateral meeting.
During meeting Biden said “The failure of the United States Congress, if it occurs, not to support Ukraine is close to criminal neglect. It is outrageous,” in the Oval Office, with Scholz seated next to him.

“I’m very happy that in Europe we made now decisions to get the necessary financial support to the budget,” said Scholz, He added: “And hopefully Congress, the House, will follow you and make a decision on giving the necessary support.”

Earlier on 1 February, 2024 ,The European Union approved 50 billion euro ($54 billion) support package for Ukraine over next four years.
